Our mission at the Bushido Hall Of Science is a Dojo (school) that teaches the traditional style of Karate. We Have come to recognize the fact that Martial Arts is not just a system that teaches our students to defend themselves with the use of their hands and feet but with the science behind the techniques that are within the system. It also seems that over time our students also develop a higher since of awareness. In a relatively short period of time, within their training, we’ve noticed our students would begin to take note to things in their environment that were always there but did not always notice at all before. Some examples of these skills would be: reading the body language of others more accurately, reading the attitude of others more accurately, even before they says anything, or even a sudden change in their surroundings; whether it be individuals or objects.
Besides heightened awareness, we at the Hall Of Science also noticed that our students acquire a certain level of calmness within himself or herself and do express an increased level of respect and kindness towards others as a whole.
Please don’t be mislead, at our house (Dojo), even though our concentration is defense our focus is health. As we have researched and sifted deeper into the Science of the Martial Arts, that has been pasted down to us, we have found that there is a lot of other aspect that, those before us in the industry, had not embarked upon as of yet. Some of these high lights are: high impact aerobics, low impact aerobics, strength training and much, much more.
By embracing these new found pieces of information we can now shed new light on the Martial Arts industry, of the science of Defense, in the area of training by presenting it a more user friendly manner while still teaching and remaining within the traditions, of the Science, as it had been pasted down from generation to generation.
