Please don’t be mislead, at our house (Dojo), even though our concentration is defense our focus is health. As we have researched and sifted deeper into the Science of the Martial Arts, that has been pasted down to us, we have found that there is a lot of other aspect that, those before us in the industry, had not embarked upon as of yet. Some of these high lights are: high impact aerobics, low impact aerobics, strength training and much, much more.
By embracing these new found pieces of information we can now shed new light on the Martial Arts industry, in the area of the Science of Defense, in the methods of training by presenting it in a more user friendly manner while still teaching and remaining within the traditions, of the Science, as it had been pasted down from generation to generation.
And he maketh my way perfect (complete) :34 – He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places. :35 – He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Which is clarified in more detail in Genesis 32:25 when it says – And Jacob was left alone: and there he wrestled a man with him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
By cleansing the body with herbs and exercising through the methods that we’ve looked at thus far, what are the benefits of doing these things? As Proverbs 3:8 says – It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones. And in addition Proverbs 4:22 says – for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
But what happens to those that chose to ignore this type of information? We get our answer from I Corinthians 3:17 which says – If any man defile (to make dirty) the temple of the Most High, him shall the Most High destroy; for the temple of the Most High is Holy, which temple ye are.
To take this discussion a step further I would boldly point out that there is another form of exercise that is depicted in the Bible and in number of different places. This elaborate systematic form of exercise is called Martial Arts.
Though many people have, at one time or another, been known to look at Martial Arts as a negative entity; saying that it is violent or even satanic, to those individuals I ask the question, "How could this system of defense be so bad when it is mentioned in the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible? How is it that a lot of the great men of the Bible (some example are Jacob, Jesus, the twelve disciples) are spoken about in sermons worldwide, time and time again, knew Martial Arts? How is it Martial Arts was created for the purpose of protection (specifically the protection of the tombs of the Pharaoh’s along the Nile Valley where the Nile River runs, the same Nile River that Moses was set upon by his mother to save him from being kill by the Pharaoh (King) of that time period)?
To go further, as we continue to sift deeper into this sophisticated system of defense, how is it also possible to find exercises in the Martial Arts system that tones and strengthens the muscular system, strengthens the skeletal structure and even the bones directly? How is it that this system helps to increase blood flow and circulation; which increases organ health and helps them to perform more efficiently?
Even though such negativity is directed towards this system called Martial Arts, still the following types of exercise can be found within it: low and high impact aerobics, weight training (your own body weight), strength training and endurance training. Of course the list goes on but we must move on.
